At Immersium Studio we have participated once again in the 4YFN of the MWC this year. The Mobile World Congress is an annual congress held at the Fira de Barcelona in Hospitalet de Llobregat (Fira Gran Via) and is considered the most important in the technology sector worldwide. This year it was held from March 3 to 6, 2025. This 19th edition has been the year of the revolution in Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, 5G monetization and innovation in new smartphones. It was attended by more than 101,000 attendees, 2,700 exhibitors and more than 2,600 journalists.
We participated in the space dedicated to technological startups, 4YFN. 4 Years From Now is a space within the MWC itself dedicated exclusively to startups and entrepreneurs, where local and international startups meet to explore and find new business, investment/financing, collaboration or partnership opportunities.
We’ve been at the booths reserved for startups born out of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, like us. We’ve had the pleasure of sharing space with Accessibles, eTrivium, Smart Classroom Project, ARCamp, Langtern, Levelab, Picofon, Powar Steam, and Kala, among others.

Numerous companies, investors, and future clients visited our stand to inquire about our immersive learning experiences, which we were able to demonstrate to them using state-of-the-art Virtual Reality headsets. They were amazed by the experiential nature of our experiences, as they were recorded in a real environment, with actors, and not in a digital setting, making them much more realistic.
Immersive learning through Virtual Reality is a very useful tool that applies new technologies to the constantly evolving sector of education. The feedback we’ve received has been very positive, and we’re confident that our participation in Mobile World Congress has provided us with many opportunities for visibility with new clients, new contacts, and new collaborations.
