He explained some of the immersive experiences that we have designed and briefly explained what the VR ICU Upskilling for Health Professionals experience consists of, with which we have won the 2021 Auggie Award for the best health solution.

The VR ICU Upskilling for Health Professionals project is an immersive training in 360 (Virtual Reality), starring real doctors and nurses. It provides knowledge and tools to health professionals who do not usually work in Intensive Care Units (ICU), and trains them to provide extra support in this unit during the COVID-19 pandemic, strengthening ICUs in times of need. It has already trained more than 20,000 healthcare professionals across Europe.
