After the change from Facebook to Meta, Mark Zuckerberg developers have put all their efforts into “Project Cambria” to bet on the metaverse, in which people will be interconnected through digital spaces. Part of these efforts has focused on the creation of Meta Quest Pro, high-end Virtual and Mixed Reality glasses, which will allow both Virtual Reality and Mixed and Augmented Reality experiences to be provided.
Meta Quest Pro take Meta Quest 2 as a point of reference, but in a more sophisticated and modern way. They highlight the incorporation of sensors capable of tracking eye and head movements, which can be very useful in the metaverse to replicate avatar movements or to know where the user is looking in training experiences and thus enrich the feedback we get. They also have high-resolution sensors for Mixed Reality experiences, integrating external cameras to capture what is happening outside and also allow Augmented Reality through clear LCD screens.

As reported by Meta in the device presentation, the new glasses will begin to be distributed on October 25 for 1,800 euros.
Virtual Reality glasses have been improving little by little, making them lighter, and incorporating more movement sensors, facial recognition, voice recognition, which will allow greater ease to enter the metaverse and where immersive experiences such as those that we created in Immersium Studio to help more and more people to improve their knowledge and communication skills in corporations, educational institutions, in health, in social sector and in different fields.
