Escape Room VR Project
20 de August de 2026
The Virtual Reality Escape Room Project is an initiative we are carrying out on behalf of the Vallès Occidental County Council. We are developing an escape room to promote industrial career paths in Vallès Occidental, placing special emphasis on a gender perspective.

This experience provided through Virtual Reality glasses will be part of the “Upskilling per l’ocupació” project.

The Escape Room will consist of five experiences taking place at five distinct locations, involving the resolution of themes related to the current industry in a realistic, engaging, and stimulating way. At one of these companies, we will include a real interview with a woman working in the sector.
In Vallès Occidental, the most important industrial subsectors are:
– Manufacture of fabricated metal products
– Manufacture of machinery
– Chemical industries
– Manufacture of pharmaceutical products
– Manufacture of rubber and plastic products
– Food product industries
Real-world scenarios involving companies from these subsectors will be presented, each featuring a challenge to be solved by applying general professional knowledge regarding industrial employment—such as digitalization, sustainability, equality, and internationalization. The final experience will put into practice cross-cutting skills valued in the industry, such as analytical ability, flexibility, and conflict resolution.
Among the companies collaborating on this project are:
Isotubi

Isotubi is a company specializing in fluid-conveying solutions for industrial applications, with a strong focus on quality, international certifications, and exports. Headquartered in Castellbisbal, it has a track record spanning over forty years in the stainless steel sector. Its core activities include the manufacture of welded stainless steel pipes, the production of pipe fittings (elbows, tees, reducers, flanges, and other components), press-fitting systems for industrial installations, and the distribution of steel products—particularly stainless steel—in both domestic and international markets.

With over 180 years of experience, the company operates in areas such as infusion therapy, surgery, clinical nutrition, dialysis, and wound care, prioritizing innovation, digitalization, efficiency, and sustainability.
Developing an escape room script—while also incorporating some technical enigma for the user to solve—has been a challenge for us. This Virtual Reality experience will be highly useful in showcasing the opportunities available at companies in Vallès Occidental, a region home to many international industrial firms that require technical personnel. The project also addresses the gender perspective, demonstrating that women can work in the industry just as men do and challenging prejudices regarding the types of work performed based on an employee’s gender.
