TV3’s Telenews broadcasts a report on the ArtEdu immersive project of which we are part, which has been presented at the Mobile World Congress 2024
TV3 is one of the most watched television channels in Catalonia, and Telenews is one of those with the largest audience. All its emissions are reflected in its own 3cat platform.

On March 1, 2024, TV3’s TN broadcast a report titled “Catalan schools and institutes present on Mobile how they integrate technology into the classrooms“
The report explains that it is the students, in this case from the San Vicente de Castellet Institute, who are developing the tour with Augmented Reality.

This project has been possible thanks to the help they have received from the European Community with which they have purchased 360-degree cameras, Virtual Reality glasses and video post-production material. Everything has been carried out with the support of the UOC and specialized companies like ours, where we train teachers so that they can carry out these trainings. The immersive material they develop in this project will be transferred to the city council to include it in the museum space they are preparing.

Within this project we explain to schools and institutes how to use immersive technologies such as Augmented Reality in their educational projects. The students, with our help and that of the teachers, are developing a virtual tour of different locations that they have chosen themselves. It is the students themselves who record all processes with 360-degree cameras.

Mobile World Congress 2024

At the Mobile World Congress 2024, held in Barcelona from February 26 to 29, mschools presented a project that they are carrying out with the Edul@b research group of the Open University of Catalonia. In this project “Virtual Reality for the generation of immersive learning situations. A critical look at the built environment” collaborates with schools and institutes, various foundations and us as an expert company in the use of immersive technologies. This project is a digital innovation initiative that aims to support educational centers and teachers in the design, development and evaluation of interdisciplinary immersive projects that, taking advantage of virtual reality and network collaboration, contribute to the development of a critical look at the built space, sensitive to the needs of people and committed to the collective aspirations of sustainability and equity.
