Adrián and Arnau are two students from the Mare de Deu de la Mercè Institute, who have been doing their internships with us for a few months. Their collaboration with us was born through the internship agreement we have with various higher schools that teach the Higher Cycle of 3D Animation, games and interactive environments.
The Higher Technician training cycle in 3D Animation, Games and Interactive Environments is designed to train professionals with a broad mastery of the artistic techniques involved in the design of characters, settings and objects intended for an animation or video game production. They learn all the necessary techniques to become professional in areas of concept art, digital illustration, 3D modeling, texturing, 2D and 3D animation (environments and characters), VFX, programming, game design and other techniques such as MOCAP (motion capture), simulation of dynamic or photorealistic lighting. As part of their training, they carry out internships in technology companies like ours, to improve their practical knowledge in different disciplines.
Adrián López de la Nieta, 21 years old, studied the Technological Baccalaureate and is finishing the Higher Cycle of 3D Animation, games and interactive environments. He started his internship with us thanks to a teacher from the cycle who told him about us. Upon researching what we do, he liked the idea of collaborating with us and thus began his internship with us.
Among the works he has done is collaborating on a 360º animation of a human heart. In this experience designed for Medical students at the University of Barcelona, the user can take an immersive virtual tour with an animated 3D model of the heart and lungs, so they can see what a systole and diastole are, observing the blood going out to the lungs and to the rest of the body.
He has also worked on the creation of 3D elements, such as the creation of a hall, a fire using particles, animations, etc.
Arnau Adam Gómez, 27 years old, studied the Scientific Baccalaureate and is finishing theHigher Cycle of 3D Animation, games and interactive environments.
She started her internship with us thanks to her internship tutor who recommended our company to collaborate with us. Our scope of work and the possibility of teleworking was perfectly adapted to their work situation. The main difficulties he has encountered have been due to the lack of practice in certain tools used, but his knowledge has been increasing gradually.
Among the works he has done is collaboration on a 360º animation of a human heart, which we have already mentioned before, and also on the creation of 3D elements such as a hall, a knife, a fire using particles, animations, etc. using Maya Autodesk software. He is happy with the knowledge acquired and will use this new knowledge in his professional life.
We are very happy with the work that both Adrián and Arnau are doing, since they are very interested and little by little they are improving their knowledge in the different programs we use.
