VR Clinical Project
28 de June de 2024
The VR Clinical project is a project that we are developing for the University of Barcelona within the DIGAPREN Project, which we have won in a public tender.

In the DIGAPREN project, Digitization of learning environments, we are developing several immersive learning experiences, including Clínico VR, Grief VR and Trans*VR. The Clinical VR experience, developed by the medical field, consists of the physical examination of a patient and detection of symptoms, recreating a scenario that allows the recurrent practice of the physical examination of a patient using the acronym ABCDE (Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability and Exposure). This activity is aimed at undergraduate students in health sciences (nursing, medicine, dentistry and podiatry).
Experiencia Inmersiva
In this experience the user plays the role of a doctor’s companion and will have to evaluate, diagnose and treat a patient.
Below you can see some images from the filming of this experience.

This filming was very difficult because it was very technical in all the steps to follow, but we are very happy with the result obtained. With the collaboration of different medical professionals, we were very careful to apply all the steps of the ABCDE protocol (Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability and Exposure) correctly. Emergency situation experts carefully reviewed the various scenes.
Different students from the health sciences degrees (nursing, medicine, dentistry and podiatry) at the University of Barcelona will use these experiences in the following years, and they will surely be very useful in their professional development.
