Pneumofight VR Project
11 de July de 2024
Pneumofight VR is a proposal for an immersive experience that allows both children (between 9 and 16 years old) and adults (adults and elderly people, and healthcare personnel) to understand what pneumonia is, its complications, and risk factors. and the importance of preventive measures, including vaccines. Pneumonia is a lung infection that kills more than two million people each year worldwide. Its severity depends greatly on the patient’s health and age, and can be life-threatening.
The main objective of this project would be to raise people’s awareness about the risks of pneumonia and the importance of preventing it, encourage and introduce children to basic knowledge about pneumonia, and emphasize the importance of vaccines. It would also provide information on the main risks causing pneumonia, and on the role of viruses and bacteria in this disease.

Pneumofight would be part of the Global Pneumonia Awareness Campaign – PneumoLight (non-profit campaign) which is a member of the Every Breath Counts Coalition.

We are very happy to collaborate with PneumoLight in the development proposal of the PneumoFight Project, which if carried out will surely help both adults and health professionals as well as children to know the particularities of this disease, which can be very serious in various cases. Being able to observe in an experiential and immersive way all the phases of pneumonia, its complications and risk factors and the importance of preventive measures will surely be useful in many areas. Raising awareness among the population about the importance of preventive measures is also of great help to the medical and scientific community.
