This project is based on an entertaining tourism experience<\/strong> centered on Gibraltar<\/strong>\u2014featuring animations and 360\u00b0 drone footage\u2014that we developed for ECHO 360. Through the use of AI and historical storytelling, we transport the viewer across 40,000 years of history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The experience is designed as a journey guided by B\u00e1rbara<\/strong>\u2014a digitally created presenter\u2014who accompanies the user from Gibraltar\u2019s prehistoric origins to its contemporary identity. The goal was not merely to showcase iconic landmarks such as the Pillars of Hercules, the dawn of humanity, the modern crossroads, or the Upper Rock, but to craft an emotional and sensory experience<\/strong> that connects the viewer to the territory, its history, and its culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The narrative structure is built like a time capsule<\/strong>, with each scene employing a unique combination of visual and audio elements to reinforce the sense of traveling through time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the production’s key elements has been the integration of the virtual guide, B\u00e1rbara<\/strong>, into real environments captured in 360\u00b0. To achieve this, we combined cinematic drone aerial footage with ground-based 360\u00b0 photography and video, applied perspective correction for immersive environments, and performed unified color grading across real and digital sources. Integrating B\u00e1rbara into various scenes adds a touch of humor and emotional warmth <\/strong>to the experience, fostering a connection with the story being told.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
