{"id":5888,"date":"2025-06-04T11:30:43","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T09:30:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immersiumstudio.com\/projects\/ampliacion-del-proyecto-fibromialgia\/"},"modified":"2025-09-02T17:12:30","modified_gmt":"2025-09-02T15:12:30","slug":"ampliacion-del-proyecto-fibromialgia","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/immersiumstudio.com\/en\/projects\/ampliacion-del-proyecto-fibromialgia\/","title":{"rendered":"Fibromyalgia Project expansion"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/immersiumstudio.com\/en\/projects\/proyecto-fibromialgia\/\">Fibromyalgia project<\/a><\/strong> began in mid-2024, developing a mobile app for the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uoc.edu\/es\">Universitat Oberta de Catalunya <\/a><\/strong>that allows people to experience virtual reality using<strong> cardboard VR headsets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This experience was based on <strong>mindfulness, breathing, relaxation, and attention training sessions<\/strong>. Two distinct virtual environments were designed, set in a forest and on a beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/immersiumstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/3-1024x579.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4078\" width=\"602\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/immersiumstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/3-1024x579.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/immersiumstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/3-300x170.jpg 300w, https:\/\/immersiumstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/3-768x434.jpg 768w, https:\/\/immersiumstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/3-1536x868.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/immersiumstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/3.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 602px) 100vw, 602px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cun.es\/enfermedades-tratamientos\/enfermedades\/fibromialgia\">Fibromyalgia<\/a><\/strong> syndrome is a<strong> chronic and complex condition <\/strong>that causes widespread pain, <strong>profound fatigue<\/strong>, and a variety of other accompanying symptoms. It primarily affects the body&#8217;s soft tissues and causes joint pain or swelling. Maladaptive thoughts can be recurrent due to fibromyalgia or in patients with chronic pain.
