The University of Barcelona<\/a><\/strong> is addressing different actions to modernize and digitalize the University within its Unidigital project<\/a><\/strong> C21.I5.P1.S8 linked to the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union \u2013 Next Generation EU <\/strong>(RD 641\/ 2021 of July 27, 2021 \u2013 UNIDIGITAL). Among these actions is the DIGAPREN<\/strong> project itself, Digitization of learning environments<\/strong>: HALC classrooms (Hybrid Active Learning Classroom) and simulation tools with which the contracting of the design and development services of several immersive and interactive 3D videos<\/strong> was validated. At Immersium Studio<\/strong> we are very happy to have won this tender<\/a> and to be able to develop experiences in 360-degree Virtual Reality for the University of Barcelona<\/strong> as a training resource for university students from different disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this project we are developing three immersive simulation experiences in Virtual Reality<\/strong>, which will allow students to be placed in real situations of their future professional life where they will be able to practice their reaction to different situations and scenarios in which they will have to make decisions and interact<\/strong> with other professionals or users. of their services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first simulation<\/strong> (VR Clinical<\/a>), which we are developing will be in the medical field<\/strong>, and will consist of the physical examination<\/strong> of a patient and detection of symptoms<\/strong>, recreating a scenario that allows the recurrent practice of the physical examination of a patient using the acronym ABCDE<\/strong> (Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability and Exposure).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This activity will be aimed at students of the health sciences degree (nursing, medicine, dentistry and podiatry).<\/p>\n\n\n

The second simulation<\/strong> (VR Grief<\/a>), which we are developing will be in the pedagogical and social field<\/strong>, and consists of management and actions in grief situations. A situation in which a professional faces a primary school student who has lost a family member<\/strong> will be recreated. This activity will be aimed at students of Pedagogy, Teaching and Social Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third simulation<\/strong> (Trans*RV<\/a>), which we are developing will be in the pedagogical and social field<\/strong>, consists of bringing together the experiences lived by Trans* people in their daily and professional lives. This activity is aimed at students of Pedagogy, Teaching, Social Education, and also students of the health sciences degree (nursing, medicine, dentistry and podiatry).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
