Immersium Studio designs an Augmented Reality experience for the Vilafranca Rooster Fair<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

More than 250 people have already seen the Augmented Reality experience<\/strong> that we have developed for the Consell Comarcal de l\u2019Alt Pened\u00e8s<\/a><\/strong> for the Rooster Fair of Vilafranca del Pened\u00e8s<\/a>, see it yourself with this QR code<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 358th edition of the Vilafranca Rooster Fair<\/strong> was held on December 17 and 18, 2022 in Sant Juli\u00e0 park and in the Vilafranca del Pened\u00e8s<\/strong> fairground. This fair, which is one of the oldest in Catalonia and dates back to the Middle Ages, features the Rooster of Pened\u00e8s<\/strong>, a native variety of poultry with PGI (Protected Geographical Indication), highly appreciated for its attractiveness and for his meat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fair offered the possibility of knowing, in a didactic way, the different varieties of Pened\u00e8s chicken<\/strong> in the exhibition tent, and also, it was possible to taste the Pened\u00e8s Rooster<\/strong> in the gastronomic sample where different restaurants prepared traditional dishes to try it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those attending the fair were able to enjoy the Augmented Reality experience<\/strong> that we have designed, through QR codes displayed at the fair and also present at the tasting tables. By scanning the QR code<\/strong> with your mobile you can access an experience that shows a 3D model of the Pened\u00e8s Rooster, as well as an explanatory video of its breeding and growth process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This fair has welcomed nearly 40,000 people, mainly families, couples and groups of friends, attracted by the gastronomy, the wine of the territory and popular culture. We are very happy to have been able to teach this immersive experience to the attendees. The more than 250 visits show that Augmented Reality<\/strong> is increasingly common in our society, since it can be used in many different areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
