\u00a1WINNERS! We are very proud to announce that Immersium Studio<\/strong> has been awarded with the Best Healthcare VR Solution<\/strong> in the 12th Auggie Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual Auggie Awards <\/strong>are the most recognized AR & VR industry awards in the world since 2010. Now in its 12th year, the Auggies continue to showcase the best of the best in augmented, virtual and mixed reality. Winners were presented at the Auggie Awards Ceremony<\/strong>, which took place on November 10th at the AWE USA 2021 event in Santa Clara, California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Nomination Period<\/strong> (February 3 \u2013 September 12) we submit a nomination in the category Best Healthcare Solution with our project VR ICU Upskilling for Health Professionals<\/em><\/strong>. The Category Best Healthcare and Wellness Solution included spatial computing best use in healthcare for hospitals, operating rooms, medical training, diagnosis and telemedicine, patient care and home care, rehabilitation, and wellness. In the Public voting<\/strong> (September 13 \u2013October 7) our project was selected as one of the six finalists. After public voting, the judges, selected by AugmentedReality.org (Judging Period<\/strong>, October 15 \u2013 October 31) decided the winners for each category. Winners were announced at AWE USA 2021<\/strong> on November 10, 2021 in Santa Clara, California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VR ICU Upskilling for Health professionals<\/em><\/strong> project is a 360 immersive training (VirtualReality), starring real doctors and nurses, that provides knowledge and tools to health professionals who do not usually work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and trains them to provide an extra support to this unit during the COVID-19 pandemic, thus strengthening ICUs in times of need. It has already trained more than 20,000 healthcare professionals throughout Europe and is rated 9\u20196 \/ 10 by trainers and trainees. It offers comprehensive tracking of user activity, through a score record associated with hits\/errors and reaction times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
