The University of Barcelona includes our VR-Trans* experience in its University Microcredentials Certificate program “Immersive Experiences to Generate More Inclusive Work Environments. VR-GENI”<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The University of Barcelona, \u200b\u200bthrough its Institut de Formaci\u00f3 Cont\u00ednua- IL3<\/a><\/strong>, has created university micro-credentials<\/a><\/strong>, which are short professional training programs <\/strong>designed to facilitate the acquisition, updating, and improvement of key knowledge and skills to enhance students’ employability<\/strong> and meet the training needs <\/strong>of the labor market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These open-access courses, which do not require a university degree, help foster talent and enhance employability to meet the current and future challenges of our society. They are designed to develop skills, competencies, and qualifications linked to specific sectors, addressing social and economic needs. University micro-credentials offer a flexible learning experience<\/strong>, facilitating work-life balance, and provide recognized training with a certificate issued by the University of Barcelona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Implementing a course on gender perspective and inclusion<\/a><\/strong> is key to fostering respectful and equitable work environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The VR-GENI<\/strong> university microcredential has included the VR-Trans <\/strong>(RIMDA) and VR Balance<\/strong> (EU) projects to combine equality and diversity<\/strong> with innovative training in Virtual Reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We at Immersium Studio designed the VR-Trans*<\/a> experience<\/strong> exclusively for the University of Barcelona, \u200b\u200band we’re delighted that they’ve included it in this micro-credential training. The immersive approach enhances empathy and reduces discrimination <\/strong>by allowing participants to emotionally experience how people feel when they are treated differently because of their sexual orientation. Expanding knowledge about gender diversity<\/strong> fosters a more understanding, collaborative, functional, and healthy work environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
