This past November 2024, our CEO, Luis Villarejo, made our first trip to Colombia, as part of our Internationalization process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Immersium Studio entered the ICEX Next program<\/a> in May 2024, being selected among the 150 companies that obtained the best scores. The ICEX Next Program<\/strong> helps companies develop or contrast their internationalization strategy, analyzing the best destinations for their product or service and supporting them with an Offline and Online International Business Strategic Plan<\/strong>, focused on selected foreign markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This strategic plan began with a visit to Colombia, framed within the Transforming Emotions project, continuing with visits to the headquarters of ICEX and the UOC in Bogot\u00e1. Finally, we have participated in the Bett Show in London, with a stand inside the ICEX pavilion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transforming Emotions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Transformando Emociones<\/a> project is a multidisciplinary effort to provide solutions to the problem of mental health in young people worldwide. In November 2024 we had the pleasure of participating as strategic partners in the presentation of this project in Bogot\u00e1, in which we will work to strengthen the resilience and emotional management<\/strong> of young people through immersive training in Virtual Reality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ICEX<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ICEX<\/a> Spain Exportation and Investment is a national public<\/strong> business entity<\/strong> whose mission is to promote the internationalization of Spanish companies<\/strong> and the promotion of foreign investment. At Immersium Studio we entered the ICEX Next program<\/a> in May 2024. This support has consisted of Specialized Advice<\/strong> and monitoring of our internationalization process. On this first Internationalization trip we have taken a trip to Colombia and visited the ICEX headquarters in Bogot\u00e1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UOC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Universitat Oberta de Catalunya<\/a> is a pioneering university in e-learning<\/strong>. They use a unique, innovative methodology endorsed by governments, education departments and educational institutions around the world. They have taught 100% online since 1995. At Immersium Studio we have a very close relationship with them, since we are a spinoff of the UOC. The founders of Immersium spent more than 15 years working with immersive technologies within the UOC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On our trip to Colombia we are very happy to have been able to visit the UOC headquarters in Bogot\u00e0 for Latin America<\/strong>, since it is one of the cities with the most international projection. We had the pleasure of meeting with Helena Loaiza<\/strong>, representative of Press and communications in Latin America, and Journalist with a specialization in Information Technology Management from the Externado University of Colombia. He also coordinates the UOC’s communication and marketing actions in Latin America. We are convinced that the UOC’s help in this internationalization process<\/strong> will be invaluable and will provide us with possibilities for collaboration in an immersive learning environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bett Show<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a second trip in our internationalization process, we have participated with a stand at the Bett Show 2025<\/a><\/strong> in the ICEX<\/strong> pavilion. The Bett Show is a community of educators, students, policymakers and solution providers, intent on transforming education through the use of technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bett Show was held in London on January 22, 23 and 24, 2025 at ExCel London. We have had the opportunity to participate with a stand inside the ICEX pavilion. This has allowed us to meet potential new clients and investors and explore new collaborations with both companies and educational institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
