This event was a space for knowledge and the exchange of innovative experiences in online teaching and learning to help imagine the UOC of the future. The conference was mainly aimed at UOC teaching staff and those agents involved in change, improvement and continuous innovation at the UOC.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>Metaverse Session<\/strong>, many interesting topics were discussed, such as the utility of the blockchain as a trust layer, the interoperability between metaverses because they have a flow between them, or neural activation in a virtual environment since it simulates a different geographical environment where we can share experiences and interact.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Jornada d&#039;Innovaci\u00f3 en Doc\u00e8ncia i Aprenentatge en L\u00ednia\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hmqhqNpF_wQ?start=11515&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:64px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luis Villarejo<\/strong> spoke of the importance of knowing in which specific activities this metaverse will be useful, since it is not useful for any training. \u201cThe metaverse is a virtual space where you can interact with other people in an immersive and experiential way. The metaverse allows you to transfer people to relevant contexts for their training, it is a place where you can make mistakes, gain experience, and build confidence in the processes you are learning\u201d. In the future, this technology will be more and more integrated and will bring us benefits in many areas.
