EDULEARN22<\/a> (International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies) is an international congress that has been held annually since 2009. This year the 14th edition was held in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) on July 4, 5 and 6, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This congress is dedicated to researchers, technologists, scientists, educators,\u2026, that is, professionals interested in Education, Technology and Development in both the public and private sectors. It consists of plenary sessions, oral sessions, virtual sessions and posters among others. All the abstracts and articles presented at the congress are published by the IATED Digital Library in EDULEARN22 Proceedings<\/a>, with their corresponding DOI (Digital Object Identifier) \u200b\u200bto facilitate their citation and indexing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The abstract \u201cInternships in Higher Education: From face-to-face to Virtual Reality experiences (The TPM Journey)<\/a>\u201d was presented by the DTI Foundation at this congress. It compares the visit to a third-level hospital to see the application of the Spanish Donation and Transplant model in person as it has been done since 2011, to the new online visit that was implemented in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in which the same visit was carried out virtually, using Virtual Reality (VR) glasses (TPM Journey VR). It was concluded that the scores obtained are very similar in both cases, so new digital tools such as Virtual Reality allow us to provide individualized and realistic experiences to continue offering high-quality international educational programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are very happy that our immersive experiences are useful in different fields such as health, since they add value to systems that were previously used. We are delighted to continue collaborating with the TPM-DTI Foundation<\/a> in different projects that we are carrying out, or as in others in which we have previously worked such as Family Approach VR<\/a>, a Virtual Reality training to learn how to communicate bad news in real life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
